Who is behind Practicly?

Practicly was created by Marta Cieśla and Karolina Ziegart-Sadowska — psychologists and certified cognitive-behavioural psychotherapists, members of the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy and certified ADOS-2 diagnosticians. They have trained over 600 clinicians and are responsible for the patient scenarios and all clinical content.

The technical side is the responsibility of Michał Cieśla, trading as Enovic (VAT ID PL5060063248), the operator of the service.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every new account starts with a free 14-day trial that includes 60 minutes of practice, and no credit card is required to begin.

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No — Practicly runs entirely in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. All you need is a microphone (headphones are recommended for the best experience).

Can I practise in Polish and English?

Yes — both the interface and the virtual patients are available in Polish and English, and you can switch language at any time.

How do I talk to a virtual patient?

You speak out loud and the patient replies in their own voice in real time — a natural, back-and-forth conversation, just like talking to a real person.

Yes — a lifelike animated patient appears on screen and responds as you speak, so it feels like a video call.

You can choose from a growing library of virtual patients across different scenarios and difficulty levels. They are fictional personas designed for skills practice — a safe, consequence-free space to build confidence and refine your approach.

How does invoicing work?

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. After each payment, iFirma automatically issues you an official VAT invoice (faktura) and emails it to you — every customer gets one, individual or business. You can resend any invoice at any time from Account → Settings → Payment. Add your company name and tax ID (NIP) there to have them included on the invoice; without them, you still get a full VAT invoice, just without a NIP.

Can I cancel during the trial without being charged?

Yes — you can cancel anytime during the 14-day trial and you will not be charged, since no payment is taken until the trial ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from Account → Settings → Payment using the Cancel Plan button. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Before your cancellation is finalized, you may be offered a one-time retention discount. Changed your mind? You can reactivate at any point before the period ends.

Can I change or upgrade my plan later?

Yes — you can change your plan anytime from Account → Settings → Payment. When you switch, we adjust your billing based on the hours you've already used, not on calendar time.

What does each plan include?

Basic, Standard, and Premium each include a monthly allowance of voice-session practice time — 10, 22, and 35 hours respectively — plus full access to the features on your plan. It's an allowance for practice time, not a pay-per-hour rate.

What counts as 'session time'?

Accepted Answer

Session time is the actual duration of your voice conversation with a virtual patient, from when a session starts until it ends. Only active practice sessions count against your monthly allowance.

Do unused hours roll over to the next month?

No. Your allowance resets at the start of each billing period, and any hours you didn't use are not carried forward.

What happens if I run out of hours?

Once you use your full monthly allowance, new voice sessions are blocked until your next billing period starts or you upgrade to a plan with more hours.

What happens if I upgrade or downgrade mid-month?

Changing plans mid-cycle is prorated based on the hours you've already used, not on calendar time: we refund the unused value of your old plan and charge for the new plan from today. If you've already used more hours than the new plan allows, the change is blocked instead. Any amount owed back to you is added as account credit and applied automatically to your next invoice.

How do team seats work?

A team is the same plan purchased as multiple seats — one per member. Each seat gets its own full monthly allowance (for example, 10 hours on Basic), used only by that member. There is no shared pool of hours across the team.

What happens when I add or remove a seat mid-month?

Accepted Answer

Adding a seat mid-period charges the prorated price immediately and gives that seat a prorated share of the monthly allowance for the rest of the period — a seat added halfway through gets roughly half the hours. Removing a seat returns its unused value as account credit. At renewal, every seat resets to the plan's full allowance.

How do refunds and credits work?

Unused value from a downgrade or a removed seat is returned as account credit, which is applied automatically to your next invoice — it isn't paid back to your card by default. If you need it returned to your original card instead, contact support and our team can process that on request.

What should I do if I have trouble logging in?

After signing up, confirm your account using the verification link we email you. If you forget your password, you can reset it yourself from the password reset page on the login screen. If you still cannot get in, email us at support@practicly.app.
